In a display of honour and appreciation, the Oluwo of Iwoland; Oba Adewale Akanbi, took part in a ceremony to decorate two officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) attached to the palace of His Imperial Majesty.
The ceremony was held to mark the recent promotions of the two dedicated officers to superintendent cadre I & II.
The officers, whose commendable service has been a testament to their commitment and diligence, have also demonstrated dedication throughout their duties at the palace.

Oluwo acknowledging their exemplary service, expressed gratitude for their years of hard work and commitment to duty.
Oba Adewale Akanbi, in his capacity as a respected figure, also had the distinct honour of adorning the officers with their new ranks, recognizing their significant achievements and contributions to the NSCDC.

Oluwo said: “I have the honour of decorating two of the officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) attached to my palace that were recently promoted.”
“These dedicated corps have been serving diligently over the years they’ve been posted to my palace. I wish them the very best as they continue to serve our dear country.” Oba Akanbi concluded.
