In a commendable display of commitment to law and order, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr) AbdulRosheed Adéwálé Akanbi, has fulfilled a pledge of ₦50,000 bounty on the capture of wanted fugitive Hassan Lawal from Belio Compound, Iwo.
Following an intensive three-week search launched by the palace of the Oluwo, Hassan Lawal, a notorious figure in the community, was apprehended by the vigilant security operatives of Taawun.

Hassan Lawal has since been handed over to the Iwo Divisional Police for further legal proceedings, marking a significant stride in the pursuit of justice.
Ọba Adéwálé Akanbi, in a stern admonition to the youth of Iwo, reiterated the importance of upholding law and order, warning against any form of hooliganism or disruptive behaviour.
