The Royal Queen of Owu-Kuta Kingdom, Olori Oluwaseyi Abebi Makama, has been honoured with the prestigious Oodua Special Recognition Award for her outstanding contributions to society.
The Oodua Special Recognition Award (OSRA) is an annual ceremony that celebrates individuals whose exceptional service to the community is deemed worthy of an acknowledgment.
Nominees are selected based on public recommendations, and a thorough background check is conducted to ensure that their selfless efforts promote the Oodua heritage.
The award is sponsored by the Ooni of Ife, Ọba Adeyeye Ẹnitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

The 2024 ceremony took place on Sunday, October 13, at the renowned Ojaja Arena in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
This milestone was also celebrated by the Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, Ọba Hammed Adekunle Makama Oyelude (Tegbosun III), who expressed his joy and admiration for the Queen’s dedication.
In his congratulatory message, Oba Makama Oyelude praised the Queen’s service to the palace and the Owu Kingdom.
Ọba Oyelude Makama said: “Your contributions and commitment to the Palace and the Owu Kingdom are also beyond question. My dearest Queen, congratulations on this Special Recognition. May you continue to shine and soar higher.”
