As Nigeria celebrates her 59th years of independence, the parliamentarian representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintola, has sued for peace and unity among all Nigerians irrespective of their religious, political or ethnic differences.
Amobi who doubled as the Senatorial Leader of Osun West Senatorial District made the appeal in a press release issued to press men, noted that the current security and other challenges confronting the country would be a thing of the past when all Nigerians ethnic nationalities, political parties and religious bodies see Nigeria as one and indivisible entity.
He commended President Mohammadu Buhari for leading the country democratically without any iota of autocracy through his laudable ”change” mantra which has raised the bar of governance in Nigeria.
Hon. Amobi, therefore, urged Nigerians to close ranks with the President and support him with prayer in his bid to take Nigeria to its expected destiny of growth, progress and development.
While expressing confidence that Nigeria will work and discover her destiny, Amobi warned however, that Nigerians must seized from cooking destructive names and resist negative labelling of the country for the sake of the Nigeria reputation.
