His Imperial Majesty, Ọba AbdulRosheed Adéwálé Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwoland, received a rousing and colourful welcome upon his arrival in Kaduna State as emissaries of the Emir of Zazzau, alongside the traditional and social leadership of the Yoruba Community in Kaduna, gathered to honour the revered monarch.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as members of the Yoruba community warmly received the Oluwo of Iwoland, who expressed his appreciation and offered heartfelt royal blessings to the gathering.

As part of his visit, Ọba Adéwálé Akanbi joined the Muslim faithful for the Jumu’ah prayer at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque, Kaduna, where he also delivered an inspiring address.
In his sermon, the Oluwo spoke passionately on the values and traditions of the authentic Yoruba monarchy, urging Yoruba communities everywhere to preserve the sanctity of the institution and guard against the rise of adulterated kingship.
The royal visit also includes monarch an interactive session with members of the Yoruba community in Kaduna State, further strengthening cultural ties and promoting unity among Yoruba sons and daughters living in Northern Nigeria.
