His Imperial Majesty, Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba AbdulRosheed Adewale Akanbi, drums support for the newly established radio station Ayekooto FM in Iwoland.
Oluwo commended eminent sons of Iwo under the watch of Prof. Lai Olurode who facilitated the newly established radio station named Ayekooto FM frequented 88.3 FM. Oba Adewale Akanbi expressed his happiness and also commended the facilitators most especially Prof. Lai Olurode for the smart name, location, and modern facilities in the new station to enhance wide coverage.
Parrot, either called Ayekooto or Odidere is a peculiar bird. It symbolizes the truth, always. Of all and aside from human beings, it is the only bird that speaks. And it tells nothing but the truth. That much talk about the unique parrot is the symbol of Iwo, the home of Ayekootos.

Conducting Oluwo round the media outfit, Prof. Olurode disclosed the team behind the project as Oluwo’s sons and daughters as he assured Oluwo of maximum support to have a modern Iwo of his dream.
Olurode extended his appreciation to the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) for their support, understanding and encouragement that led to the approval of the station (Ayekooto FM). He also promised the station will respect all ethics of broadcasting.
Oluwo drummed absolute support for the station and enjoined Iwo sons and daughters to encourage the promoters in all ramifications.
