Oluwo Visits Lanre Adeleke Sports Academy, Commends Proprietor

The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commended the Proprietor of Lanre Adeleke Sports Academy, Engr. Lanre Adeleke, for situating such an ivy league sports facility in Iwoland.

Oba Akanbi described the academy as the pride of Iwoland, Osun State and Nigeria, urging stakeholders to promote the institution’s strength.

Oba Akanbi expressed the hope in the institution to raise international talents and geniuses in the world of sports.

Oluwo made the commendation today during his visit to the academy shortly after receiving the promoter, Engr. Lanre Adeleke in his palace.

Conducting the visit with Oluwo were the Akire of Ikire Ile, Onisaji of Oke Isaji, Chairman of Ayedire, Otunba of Iwoland, Local Government Chiefs, princes and a former House of Representatives member, Hon. Femi Kehinde.

The facility contains a stadium, an academy, golf course, to mention but a few.
Expressing his passion for the project, Oluwo tagged himself a friend of development as he called on all Iwoland sons and daughters to rally support for the promoter.

He said the scholarship was a rare opportunity, calling on the students to utilize the privilege and be an enviable ambassador of the institution.

In his remark, the CEO, Engr. Adeleke, appreciated Oluwo for the tour, saying the academy is fashioned at developing the strength of the black race in sports, tourism and entertainment.

Adeleke stated the academy is structured to produce national and international outstanding players. He revealed the talent of one of the students, Chinonso
Eche, a football freestyler, who set a Guinness World Record. He said the current 54 students of the academy are in full scholarship selected in some parts of Nigeria with 50 % preference for Osun.

Addressing the students, Oluwo admonished them to convert the privilege to ambassadorial opportunity as the foundational students. They were later joined at the facility by the Olu of Ileogbo, Olu of Songbe, Chief Agoro and some princes from Ileogbo.

“Lanre Adeleke Sports Academy is an ivy league sports facility and envy of others. I commend the facilitator for the sacrifice to place Iwoland on the positive world map. He is a genius to lift and lead many generations. One of the best we can do is to encourage him”

“I pray for more strength and wisdom greater than the one of Solomon for Engineer Adeleke”

“The students are enjoined to be of good conduct, maintain the academy and be a proud pioneer ambassador” Oluwo concluded.

The visit was round off with a closed-door meeting involving Oluwo, Olu of Ileogbo, Akire and Onisaji.
