The manager of Oluwo Stadium and other stakeholders have promised to renovate facilities at the Township Stadium to make it more suitable for all sporting activities.
For years, residents and students have decried the poor standard of Oluwo Stadium pitch, saying it is not fit for good football.
The plan to improve the stadium was announced a few days ago. It was disclosed that it is essential to upgrade the stadium in order to give it a befitting look and to enhance maximum productivity in the field of sports.

According to the proposed upgrading of the Oluwo Stadium, the roof structure and roof covering of the main bowl, changing of the entrance gate, main bowl toilets, degrassing, vegetation control and others are part of the plans.
