The Osun Road Maintenance Agency (ORMA) has taken a significant step towards addressing the road issues in the Ayedire Local Government. The agency inspected several damaged roads and pledged to reconstruct them, promising safety and convenience for the people of Ayedire.
Inspected Roads:
– Gada Road to Lamole junction in Ileogbo
– Ileogbo roundabout through Olopometala to Ayedire LG Secretariat
– Amuludun road through Ileogbo to Kuta/Asamu road
– Yidi through the roundabout to Oleyin
– Bowen University gate to Bova’s filling station, Oluponna
– Bovas filling station to Araromi, Oluponna

In a memo signed on 10th of September 2023 by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of Ayedire Local Government, Oluwafemi Ogunsakin, he said the reconstructing of these bad roads is not only about improving the overall condition of the infrastructure but also enhancing connectivity, convenience and economic growth for the residents.
The Ayedire Local Government Chairman, Hon. Solomon Akinyemi Ogunbiyi, expressed his delight in welcoming ORMA for this crucial inspection. He led ORMA to the damaged roads, emphasizing the importance of firsthand knowledge to identify problem areas and prioritize reconstruction efforts.
