The Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commenced the distribution of Ramadan packages to residents across Iwoland communities.
The beneficiaries of this benevolent gesture include not only the residents but also Oba Akanbi’s Princes, Chiefs, Baales and religious leaders.
During the distribution event held in Iwo today, Oba Akanbi reaffirmed his dedication to serving his people and improving their well-being.

Oluwo urged fellow Nigerians blessed with financial means to follow suit and extend their generosity to the less privileged.
The Ramadan packages distributed during this phase include foodstuffs such as rice, beans, and indomie, aimed at providing essential sustenance.

Looking ahead, Oluwo mentioned plans for a second phase of distribution to reach those who may have missed out during the first phase.
As the holy month of Ramadan continues, Oba Akanbi encourages everyone to embrace the spirit of generosity and compassion, emphasizing that Ramadan is a time for giving and being our brother’s keepers.
