The Wazeer of Yorubaland, Sheikh Yahqub Muhammad Baaqi, has Congratulated Oba Adewale Akanbi for the award of recognition as the Monarch of the year 2021.
African Custodian Magazine deems it fit to award Oluwo of Iwoland as the ‘Monarch of the Year 2021’ for his exemplary leadership quality that has changed the narrative of kingship and also his contributions to the advance development of people and community.
The Wazeer of Yorubaland, Sheikh Yahqub, said it is a well deserved award of recognition for Oluwo as a unique Oba who always promotes culture and traditions. Despite promoting African cultures, Oluwo has not stretched away from the path of believing in Allah over mini gods.

Sheikh Yahqub further said Oluwo is cherished and loved by his people because of his care and good heart towards his subjects.
In his statements, Sheikh Yahqub Muhammad Baaqi said;
“The Office of Wazeer of Yorubaland congratulates the Emir of Yorubaland King, Dr Abdurrosheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, on his new winning Award of “African Mornach of the Year 2021”.
He continued: “This is a well deserved award as a King who only believes in Allah and says no to other gods. With uprighteous mind , good heart and someone who loves for others what he loves for himself.”

The award presentation ceremony will come up on November 28, 2021 at the prestigious Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Ikeja.
