The Chairman of Iwo East LCDA, Hon Rahman Lawal Abiola, disclosed in a chat with newsmen that the Jankara market in Iwo will wear a new look.
The Jankara shopping complex in Iwo town is to be reconstructed and re-model into a modern Shopping Complex that will meet any standard.

Honourable Rahman pleaded with the Marketmen and women to show understanding of the project adding that it was for the town development of the town.
The project is being handled by an indigenous contractor who happens to be an Iwo indigene.
The Chairman pledged that the present people at the market would be accorded priority in the new Complex when completed.

He said everything was now set for the project to take off having signed all the necessary MOUs with the contractor.
Interacting with the occupants of the Jankara market, the people assured the Chairman of maximum cooperation but pleaded with the Chairman to fulfill his promise of giving them priority in the allocation of shops in the new complex.
