It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of a highly esteemed son of Iwoland, Alhaji Debo Badru.
Alhaji Badru, who held the title of Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland, passed away today, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by many. His death was confirmed by his family, who are now mourning the loss of a beloved father, leader, and community figure.

His contributions extended beyond the political arena, touching the lives of many through his commitment to the welfare of Iwoland.
As we mourn this great loss, we pray that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest in Al-Janah Fridaos and overlooks any of his misdeeds.
May the Almighty also grant us strength and mercy in Iwo and bring comfort to those he has left behind.
This is a sad, heartbreaking and irreparable loss for Iwoland. Who are we to question the will of God?
