The Chairman of Iwo Local Government, Hon. Moshood Kabiru Adekunle, had a meeting with the Babaloja of Iwoland and other leaders in the community. The discussion was centered on a crucial issue affecting Iwoland and especially the diversion of government revenue by certain individuals.
During this meeting, Chairman Kabiru Adekunle expressed his strong commitment to inclusivity and collaboration with all stakeholders in the community. He emphasized that every member of the community plays a vital role in the progress of the government.

The focus of the conversation was on revenue generation and addressing critical challenges within the Odo-Ori market, such as the lack of public toilets, access roads, and leaking roofs in some shops.
Chief Taleatu Akanni (Lodifi), speaking on behalf of the market leaders, expressed their willingness to support the government’s revenue-generation efforts and called for a solution to these infrastructure issues.
In response, Chairman Kabiru Adekunle assured the Babaloja and other stakeholders of his unwavering commitment to revamp the market conditions and allocate resources effectively.
