The Iwo Action Council (IWAC) is preparing to hold its 30th IWAC NITE this December as Oluwo of Iwoland will be decorated as the life patron. IWAC is an assembly of all clubs and associations of Iwo Origin. It is an annual event that brings sons and daughters of the soil together.
In a press release signed by the IWAC director of publicity, Prince Tunde Lamuye, he says the executive and the entire member-clubs of Iwo Action Council (IWAC) wish to notify the general public that the 30th IWAC NITE 2020 will hold as usual this December. He also added that this year will take a new dimension because it will eminently feature the decoration of Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRosheed Adewale Akanbi Ilufemiloye Telu 1, as the Life Patron.

Prince Segun Olatunbosun Tadese will chair this colourful occasion while Hon. (Dr.) Amidu Tadese, Ph.D, Hon Tunde Akinlawon, Hon Remi Ojeniran will serve as hosts while Aare (Barrister) Jiire Ayinla, who is the President of the Council, will serve as the Chief Host respectively.
Among the notable sons and daughters of Iwoland and great personalities that will add glamour to the occasion include Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju and Alhaji (Chief) Abdul Jeleel Omogbolahan as the distinguished guest of honour and Mrs Amusan as the chairperson of the day.

Also, the Comptroller Babalola Buliyaminu Kolawole is expected at the event as the Star Guest of Honour, Aremo Maruf Adedapo and Mrs. Adelaja Opeyemi as the son and daughter of IWAC NITE.
Others expected at the occasion are captains of industry, traditional rulers, business tycoons, public administrators and many other eminent figures in the society.
