The sub-theme of the event centered on the “New Generation of Youth, Political System and Future of Nigeria” and was eminently delivered by a widely-travelled Chartered Accountant, Comrade Raheem Mojeed as evidenced in his ebulliency.

The young Chartered Accountant emphasized the need for youths to actively engage in politics to claim their seat in the decision-making process as the largest segment of the nation’s demography. Without participating in the political affairs of the nation beyond social media activism, the speaker, with strong emphasis, stated no youth inclusion in governance will ever occur.

The President of the Union, Comrade Akinkunmi Iromini in his speech, expressed his delight to Almighty God and thanked all the invited personalities and members of the Union for honouring the event. While enumerating his Administration’s notable achievements, the President charged the members of the Union to always participate in the activities of the Union as it will nurture them for future political engagements and community development.
