Adelaja Kasali Nurudeen hails from the family of Mr & Mrs Kasali of Olosi’s Compound, Oke-Adan Quarters, Iwo, Osun State.

Adelaja was born in 1978 and graduated from the Federal University of Ekiti, Ekiti State as a civil engineer. He also has both OND and HND in Civil Engineering from Osun State College Of Technology, Esa-Oke.

Adelaja has been actively practising his profession. He has also served in different capacities towards contributing his own quota to the development of the engineering industry. He is an experienced engineer. Also, he has handled a good number of projects in Osun, Ogun and Lagos State.

Adelaja Kasali Nurudeen is probably the youngest of all the candidates vying for the seat in Osogbo to represent the good people of Iwo Local Government and his youthfulness has continued to be one of his strengths.

Adelaja is not a strange name to the All Progressive Congress (APC). The name Adelaja has its genesis during Rauf Aregbesola’s administration. Adelaja almost contested in 2014 for this same seat. However, Aregbesola was able to manage the situation and Adelaja was rewarded with a position in Ogbeni’s second term.

Adelaja was a member of APC for a good number of years. He was an aspirant in the just concluded primary for this same OSHA seat, unfortunately, he could not get the ticket.

One of major his strengths is that he is being backed and supported by the popular Islamic organization, Jamatul-Tawaun Muslim led by the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Sheikh Imran Molasaan.

The Ameer of the Islamic organization, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, led a peaceful rally around Iwo a few weeks ago in support of the candidacy of the ADP house of representatives and Osun State House of Assembly.

Adelaja Kasali Nurudeen popularly known as Adelaja is contesting on the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and he is determined to replace Hon. Halil Dodo come in February 2023.

Hon. Tunde Akinlawon studied Banking and Finance at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State then proceeded to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he bagged his Bsc. Accounting.

Hon. Tunde Akinlawon has served as a vice chairman of the Iwo Local Government Council. He was also the leader of the Iwo Local Government Parliamentary Council. He has also served as a councillor of Ward 10 (Oke Adan 3), Iwo Local Government.

Adesina Rabiu Atanda has both OND and HND in Banking and Finance from Osun State Polytechnic Iree. He had his Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in social work and Master’s in Accounting from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso (LAUTECH).

Adesina Rabiu joined politics started from a tender age, being a son of an astute politician, Late Alhaji AbdulGafar Alani Rabiu popularly known as Baba.

Alhaji AbdulGafar Alani Rabiu a strong member of All Progressive Congress (APC). Baba baba was one of the founding members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Iwo and Osun State.

Adesina worked for the Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs, Osun State as a Community Officer for five years. He has also served as an assistant Executive Officer at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN). Besides being a civil servant, Adesina Rabiu is a practising farmer.

It is rumoured that Adesina Rabiu is being sponsored by Alhaji Moshood Adeoti popularly known as Sheehuuu.

Adesina Rabiu Atanda was one of the APC’s aspirants for the House of Assembly for 2023, however, he was denied the chance to partake in the primary election and failed to clinch the ticket. He is now a card-carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the candidate for the Osun State House of Assembly 2023 election.
