Adesina Rabiu Atanda was born on the 25th of January 1976 to the family of the Late Alhaji Rabiu Alagbe of Baamolu’s compound Oke Adan Quarters Iwo Local Government, Osun State.
He attended First Olukotun Baptist Day School Iwo for his primary education. He later proceeded to Saint Anthony’s Catholic Grammar School, Iwo for his secondary education.
After this, he moved to Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Osun State to study Banking and Finance where he obtained OND and HND respectively.

Adesina Rabiu Atanda did not stop at this point as he proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) for his Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in social work which he later obtained his Master’s in Accounting at the said institution (LAUTECH).
Adesina Atanda started his career as a Managing Director at Alani Poultry Farms before he proceeded to Agbeloba Multiventure and Agro Chemicals and Farming Tools, Iwo, Osun State where he worked for some years. He also worked at One Year Industrial Attachment, Iwo Local Government Authority Board in 2002.
In 2012, Adesina was employed by the Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs, Osun State in Abere as a Community Officer where he worked for Five (5) years. He left the ministry in 2017 to join the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN) as Assistant Executive Officer (account).

Having served meritoriously in several organisations, of his love and passion for farming, he is currently Managing Director of Alani Poultry Farms Iwo, Osun State.
Adesina was once a card-carrying member of the All Progressive Congress APC where he has participated in all the political activities that took place in all the nooks and crannies in the state since the inception of democracy.
Adesina Rabiu Atanda was one of the APC’s aspirants for the House of Assembly for 2023, however, he was denied the chance to partake in the primary election and failed to clinch the ticket. He is now a card-carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the candidate for the Osun State House of Assembly 2023 election.
Adesina Rabiu Atanda is happily married with blessed children.
