WORK EXPERIENCES
Starting his career, Tunde Akinlawon worked as a teacher at Irepodun Community Grammar School, Asa. He then proceeded to be an account officer at United Methodist High School, Iwo.
Hon. Tunde Akinlawon has worked as a Credit Officer at the defunct Iwo Community Bank and was also a former Senior Accountant at National Iron Ore Mining Company, Itakpe, Okene-Lokoja road, Kogi State. Moreso, he worked as a part-time lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University Pre-Campus Centre, Iwo.
POLITICAL OFFICES
Hon. Tunde Akinlawon has served as a vice chairman of the Iwo Local Government Council. He was also the leader of the Iwo Local Government Parliamentary Council. He has also served as a councillor of Ward 10 (Oke Adan 3), Iwo Local Government.
Hon. Tunde Akinlawon held the senior special assistant position to the governor of Osun State (SSG Office). He was also an advisory member of the Osun State Library Board.

Hon. Tunde Akinlawon is the Secretary General of the Iwo Action Council (IWAC). He is also a Co-Founder of the Iwo Action Council (IWAC) and Iwo Day Celebrations. He was also a member of the Iwo Day Planning Committee from Inception till May 2022.
Hon. Tunde Akinlawon has contributed immensely towards the development of Iwo and its environs. Hon. Tunde Akinlawon has been honoured with many meritious and honourary awards of excellence from many institutions, organisations, students’ unions, government agencies, religious bodies, etc.
He is a card-carrying member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the candidate for the Osun State House of Assembly 2023 election.
Hon. Tunde Akinwola Akinlawon is happily married and blessed with promising children.
