Adelaja Kasali Nurudeen hails from the family of Mr & Mrs Kasali of Olosi’s Compound, Oke-Adan Quarters, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria on the 12th of June 1978.
He began his educational sojourn at First Olukotun Baptist Day School, Oke Bode, Iwo, Osun State where he obtained Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC) in the year 1990. He proceeded to Local Authority Commercial Grammar School, Iwo, Osun State between 1991 and 1996.
Having passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) excellently, he proceeded to Osun State College Of Technology, Esa-Oke where he obtained both an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Certificate and a Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate in Civil Engineering in the year 2002 and 2006 respectively.

In a bid to bridge the dichotomy between HND and B.Sc, Engr Nurudeen also attended the Federal University of Ekiti, Ekiti State where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering between 2019 and 2021.
Adelaja has been actively practising his profession since he finished school. He has also served in different capacities towards contributing his own quota to the development of the engineering industry as seen below:

Moreso, the high level of versatility and doggedness of Hon. Adelaja has helped him immensely to combine politics with his profession without anyone lagging behind.
Adelaja served as Assistant to the Governor, Engr AbdurRauf Adesoji Aregbesola between 2013 and 2014. He also served as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor between 2016 and 2018 respectively.
Aside from this, Adelaja participated in mobilising people and canvassing for votes in the re-run election that ushered in the incumbent Governor Isiaq Gboyega Oyetola.
Adelaja aspired for the Osun State House of Assembly in the year 2011 under the platform of the National Conscience Party (NCP). Adelaja was one of the APC’s aspirants for the House of Assembly for 2023, however, he could not clinch the ticket. He is now contesting for the Osun State House of Assembly comes 2023 under Action Democratic Party (ADP).
