The Legislative Assistant to Hon Amobi Yinusa, Comr Rabiu Ademola popularly known as “Lakasera” gives back to his community by distributing school uniforms, school bags, notebooks and other writing materials to students in Iwo local government.
The former Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union (FILSU) president, Rabiu Ademola distributed school uniforms among pupils in all wards in the Iwo local government. Many parents and guidance were in a joyous mood as they received free school uniforms and other needed school materials for their children.
It will be recalled that the Osun State governor reversed a single uniform for all schools in Osun State made by his predecessor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. Governor Oyetola reversed the policy as schools are to wear their different school uniform.

Rabiu Ademola says it is essential to play a role in reducing the burden on parents and guardians to get the new school uniforms and writing materials. At a program organized, students were given free uniforms, school bags, notebooks and writing material as schools resume back to the status quo of using their specific dress.
The invited beneficiaries were selected from all the wards in Iwo local government, orphanage homes and handicapped.
Also, school uniforms were donated to the bank of Telu Initiatives in the Palace of Oluwo. Some of those that benefited from the distribution of school uniforms include the former school the Rabiu Ademola attended, First Olukotun Baptist day school. Parents who received the uniforms appreciated and prayed for the former FILSU president for his kind gestures.
Oluwo of Iwoland represented by High Chief Aipate of Iwoland and High Chief Osolo of Iwoland lauded Rabiu Ademola as he described him as a good example for the youths. He urged the youths to contribute their quota in the development of Iwoland.
Hon Mudasiru Oguntola Toogun S.A/Chairman on Peaceful Coexistence between Fulani/Bororo and Crop Farmers in the State of Osun and Alhaji Liad Tella (Asiwaju Musulumi of Iwoland) lauded Lakasera for this giant step for contributing to human development and the future of tomorrow.

Alhaji Gafar Alani Rabiu (Baba-Baba), an APC party Leader in Iwo and Osun State commended the kind gesture of Lakasera as he said we are all stakeholders to develop Iwoland and Osun state at large.
While speaking, Rabiu Ademola who is currently working as the legislative assistant to honourable members representing Iwo Federal Constituency said, many parents might not be to afford many materials needed by these pupils and supporting them will lessen the burden.
Lakasera said: “Education is the power you need. Education will make you a better of yourself in the future. Face your studies in class and listen to the instructions of your teachers.”
“Giving back to my community is a privilege and a thing of joy. Distributing school uniforms, school bags, notebooks and writing materials is a way to help parents and guardians who might find it difficult to afford it.”
“As we all know, 2020 has been a challenging year. We should all strive to help our neighbours. These kids are the future of tomorrow, therefore, we must prioritize their education.” Lakasera concluded.
