Imbibe the Spirit of Protecting Public & Private Properties - APC leaders, Alhaji Alani Gafari

Alhaji Alani Gafari who is popularly known as ‘Baba baba’ has urged the people of Iwoland to imbibe the spirit of protecting the properties of the government. The APC leader made this known during the official flag-off of the National Library facilitated by Senator Oriolowo.

Senator Adelere Oriolwo who is representing Osun West Senatorial District facilitated the situating of a National Library to commemorate the National Youth Day. The laying down of the foundation for the library held yesterday Monday, November 16, 2020.

National Library Iwo

Senator Oriolowo said not only the youths will be the beneficiaries of the establishment of the National Library in Osun State. He also added that it will give many people the opportunity to explore research, experience new ideas and other things.

In his remarks, the APC leaders, Alhaji Alani Gafari, lauded Senator Oriolowo for situating the library in Iwo, appealing to the residents to imbibe the spirit of protecting the public and private properties. He condemned the destruction of both properties that accompanied recent EndSARS protesters, praying individual to be a good ambassador of Iwoland.

Representing Oriolowo, the LA to senate president, Hon. Adisa Ayofe, enjoined his constituents to sow more seeds of loyalty to the government and public figure. Oriolowo promised to continuously serve his Senatorial District, Osun State Government and Nigeria at large.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Chairman of Iwo East LCDA, Hon. Biola Rahman, appealed to the residents of Iwo to enforce further understanding and desist from acts tantamount to portray Iwo negatively.
