The People’s Democratic Party won all the House of Assembly seats in the Iwo Federal Constituency in the just concluded Saturday election.
The house of assembly election was held on the 18th of March, 2023 to choose who will represent the good people of the Iwo Federal Constituency in the state. The three candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won all three seats in Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa.
The candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Adesina Rabiu Atanda politically known as ARA, scored 17,358 votes while Hon. Tunde Akinwola Akinlawon of the Action Peoples’ Congress (APC) scored 10,355 votes and Engr. Adelaja Kasali Nurudeen of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) scored 2,294 votes.

Adesina Rabiu Atanda of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) politically known as ‘ARA‘ emerged as the winner for the Iwo State Constituency seat at the Osun State House of Assembly in Osogbo.
Ibrahim Afeez Abiodun of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) politically known as ‘ST Abbey‘ emerged as the winner for the Ola-Oluwa State Constituency seat at the Osun State House of Assembly in Osogbo.
The ruling party in the state sweeps Ayedire Local Government, Iwo Local Government and Ola-oluwa Government same as the All Progressive Congress (APC) did in the 2019 house of assembly election.
