The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi, mourns the demise of Alawuje of Awuje, Oba Ajagbe Oladosu Akinkawon. Oba Ajagbe Oladosu was the king of Awuje Community during his lifetime.
Oba Ajagbe Oladosu Akinkawon was crowned as the Alawuje of Awuje community on Sunday, April 30, 2017 by Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi. Before being crowned as the Alawuje, the late Oba Oladosu was the Baale of Awuje community.

Oba Oladosu was known for his generous and kindness. Oba Oladosu aged 92 years before he died. His death was a huge loss as the late king impacted many lives and upgraded his community.
Oba Adewale Akanbi commiserates with the family of Oba Oladosu and Awuje community in entirety for the death of Alawuje of Awuje, Oba Ajagbe Oladosu.

Oluwo in his message by the Chief Press Secretary to Oluwo, Alli Ibraheem, said; “The death of Alawuje of Awuje, HRM Oba Ajagbe Oladosu Akinkawon was a collosal loss to Iwoland Traditional Council.”
“While I commiserate with his immediate family, the good people of Awuje Community and Iwoland by extension, I pray for God in His Infinite Mercy to forgive the deceased.” Oluwo concluded.
