Hon. Mudasiru Lukman Kayode, House of Representative-elect, Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, has received his Certificate of Return following his victory at the just concluded National Assembly election.
Lukman Kayode, a candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), was on February 26, declared as the winner of the Iwo and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency seat by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Hon. Mudasiru Lukman Kayode polled 35,678 votes to defeat his closest rival, Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintayo of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who is also the incumbent, who scored 31,255 votes.
After receiving his certificate of return on Wednesday in Abuja, Hon. Mudasiru Lukman Kayode told newsmen of his determination to make Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency people proud with quality representation.
The House of rep-elect stressed that he will not take the opportunity for granted, but thanked God for the victory delivered by the good people of Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, saying he would not let them down.

The Aare Atunluse of Iwoland also dedicated the victory to the relentless efforts of his party member.

“I promise never to let you down as we proceed on the journey of taking our Constituency to a higher level together.”
