In his capacity as an illustrious son of Iwoland and as a Senator representing Osun-west senatorial district, Senator Adelere Sen Adelere Adeyemi Oriolowo has donated a 30KVA generator to the palace of Oluwo of Iwoland.
According to him, the gesture is in a bid to ensure an uninterrupted power supply in the palace of Oluwo of Iwoland.
Senator Oriolowo said he has high regard for the exalted throne of Oluwo of Iwo Land and expressed that, Oba Adewale Akanbi as “a first class monarch and a custodian of our heritage deserve to be treated with every sense of dignity.”
The Senator assured Oluwo of Iwoland that he will continually ensure his constituency have the best representation in the Red Chamber.
Oluwo of Iwoland express his delight about the gesture from Senator Oriolowo, and pray for his success in the mandate the electorates has given to him.
“As you have donated this generator to the palace of Oluwo of Iwoland to ensure an uninterrupted power supply, i pray may your tenure continues to enjoy an uninterrupted progress and may your life continually be lightened up.”
Senator Oriolowo assured other monarchs and traditional rulers in the 10 local government that make up Osun-west Senatorial district that they will equally benefits dividends of democracy in his tenure in no too distant time.
