At the Iwo Day 2024 celebration, Governor Ademola Adeleke shared exciting updates on infrastructure development and ongoing projects in Iwo.
Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his Spokesperson Mallam Olawale Rasheed, unveiled a series of transformative projects approved for implementation in Iwo in 2025.
He highlighted the strides being made under his administration to improve roads and bridges, ensuring Iwo gets its fair share of progress.
“For Iwo town, we are currently constructing several roads and bridges. You all can testify to such road projects. We have reconstructed the collapsed Adeeke Bridge. Under my direction, your son, who is a technocrat in charge of highways, is ensuring that Iwo got her fair share of road project allocation.”

“The Gbongan – Iwo – Oyo Road has received attention after my visit to the Minister of Works. Again, your son, our Senator for Osun West, is following up. We must break the jinx on that long delayed project.”

Phase 1: Odo-ori to Post Office, with a spur to the Palace from the Roundabout.
Phase 2: Post Office to Adeeke Junction.

✅ Rehabilitation of Iwo Water Works.
