Member-Elect of House of Representatives for Ayedire/Iwo/Olaoluwa Federal Constituency, Alhaji Lukman Kayode Mudashiru (L&K) has joined dignitaries from all walks of life in congratulating two newly crowned monarchs in Iwoland, Osun State.
In a ceremony held on Wednesday 22nd March 2023, Oba Yinusa Olaoye Oyelayo, Gbadewole 1, was installed as the Atolugbu of Ejemu Oke Oba, while Oba Sawiyu Ayinla Alao Adewolu 1 was crowned as the Oniran of Ilu Iran.

In a statement made available to newsmen, L&K, who is the Aare Atunluṣe of Iwoland, expressed his delight in the successful coronation of the two revered monarchs. He congratulated the monarchs on their ascension to the throne and wished them a peaceful reign.
Furthermore, L&K applauded the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for presenting the staffs of office to the newly crowned monarchs. He described the coronation as a significant step towards preserving the rich cultural heritage of the people of Ejemu Oke Oba and Ilu Iran.

Of particular note, Alhaji Mudashiru expressed a special congratulatory message to Oba Oyelayo, who is not only a newly installed monarch but also a father and political leader to him. He described the event as a colourful display of tradition and culture, and noted the significance of the monarchs’ reign in fostering unity and progress within their respective communities.
The coronation ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, who graced the occasion with their presence.
