Don’t Forget Your Campaign Promise of Iwo-Osogbo Road – Iwo People to Governor Oyetola
Osogbo-Iwo Road connects Osogbo with many other cities in the state. Cities such as Ede, Ejigbo, Iwo, Ikire, Ogbagbaa, Bode Osi, etc. It also connects the state with Ibadan and many other parts of the Oyo state such as Oyo, Ogbomosho, Saki, Igbeti and a number of other cities.
The economic and social benefit that this road includes is extremely beneficial for the development of the Osun State.
Early this year, the Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola assured the people of Iwo and the surrounding area their willingness to rehabilitate the Iwo-Osogbo highway. During his visit to the federal electoral district Iwo/Ayedire/Olaoluwa, the governor assured people of Iwo that he had just returned from Abuja to seek assistance from the Federal Ministry of Highway Repairs.
The governor, who noted the strategic position of the road to the states of Osun and Oyo, said that the road is on the list of top priorities of his administration. Yet, nothing has been done so far to rehabilitate the road.

IWO – OSOGBO ROAD NEED URGENT ATTENTION.
“To whoever that plies Iwo- Osogbo road will accent to the deplorable condition of the road. The worsening situation of the road will make someone believes that people living in the towns along the route are not part of the State. The route is full of fish ponds that are big enough to swallow trailers.
Please, come to our aid. Many car owners can not ply the road if they don’t want to end up at the mechanic village. While most of the commercial vehicle operators are full of complaints.
Please, don’t forget your campaign promise on this road in the last election.”
