I commend moves by our Senator, Adelere Oriolowo to pass into law a bill for the creation of an Institute of Communication Studies to be located at Iwo. Great initiative.
I, however, sincerely think Iwo should be granted a College of Communication Arts of the Osun State University. The college will award degrees and also venture into media entrepreneurship among others. The facility is on the ground for such take-off.

As a senatorial headquarter, a University college should not be difficult to grant the people of Iwo. Governor Makinde just established a campus of Lautech at Iseyin for Oke Ogun.
We need to assert our rightful place.
