Ileogbo town, the headquarters of Ayedire Local Government, Osun State, has, on Wednesday rejected the motorbike donated to their people by their federal representative, Hon. Yinusa Akintola Amobi, over what they claimed as the marginalization of their town from the key federal infrastructural projects facilitated by him.
This was during a town hall meeting held at the palace of His Royal Majesty Oba Habeeb Agbajelola Adetoyese Arowookunjoye II of Ileogbo who, while instructing the community members to return the motorbikes also presented new motorbikes facilitated by the community to them and sought support for the new executive members of the local government led by Engr. Adejare Adigun.

In his address, the national president of Ileogbo Unity Forum Mr. Anthony Owolabi who led the members of the community to the palace said;
“This is a new era in Ileogbo where we need all and sundry to support project Ileogbo in every place we find ourselves. It is no longer a piece of news that Ileogbo should come first in every position we find ourselves. We must not sell the interest of the community because of personal or political interest.”
“This is a new Ileogbo and we believe this will pass a strong warning to all political actors who may think or have been thinking Ileogbo is irrelevant or has no political direction. Anybody who intends to sell the interest of Ileogbo, as cursed by Kabiesi using the community traditional crown, shall not go scot-free,” said Anthony.
Among the people who graced the occasion were Asiwaju of Ileogbo Chief R.A. Nafiu, new executive members of Ayedire Local Government led by the chairman Engr Adejare Adigun, Hon. Gbenga Ogunkanmi [Osun House of Assembly Chief Whip], Oluomo of Ileogbo Alhaji Dele Sabit Nafiu who is also an APC chieftain in Osun West Senatorial district.
