Chieftaincy Title: Amobi Congratulates Sarafa Babalola, Commend Olupo of Oluponna

The parliamentarian representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintola has sent a message of congratulation to Chief Sarafa Babalola on his new chieftaincy title of “Agbaakin of Oluponna Land” conferred on him by His Royal Highness, Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyeleso Oyebamiji Fadare II, Olupo of Oluponna Land.

Amobi described the title as a well deserved. He also observes that the title of Agbaakin, which is translated as “an elderly warrior” came at the right time and to the right person.

Hon. Amobi further commended the monarch and good people of Oluponna for recognising the good posture of the new Chief, describing Chief Babalola as a gift from God to the good people of Oluponna Land.

In the congratulatory message, the legislator also called on Oluponna people to embrace the newly installed Chief. He urges them to work together with him. Amobi also enjoins people to support the Olupo of Oluponna for the peace, unity and progress of the community and it’s the environment.
