A team of National Commission for Colleges of Education in Nigeria has assured the good citizen of Iwoland that the proposed Al-Ummah College of Education Iwo would join the list of 178 registered Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
This was made known yesterday in Oluwo’s palace by Dr Sam, the NCCE team leader while addressing the good people of Iwoland in the presence of his Imperial majesty, Oba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi.
The Team leader thanked the chairman of the governing council of the College, Professor O.O Ladipo and Professor Tola Alamu for their total support to ensure the College starts on a solid foundation.
He said, “College of Education is our daughter and we cannot give our daughter to a reckless husband. With what we have seen so far, the College is in the hand of people that know and it will also share a royal blood.”

He thanked the management of the College for their hospitality and most especially the House of Representative member, Alhaji Yunusa Amobi representing Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa constituency for his courtesy visit to their office in Abuja.
“With what we have seen so far and the people that support the establishment of the College, Al-Ummah College will join the list of the registered Colleges in Nigeria” he promised.
