Guildance Community Development Foundation Launches “One Teacher, One Laptop” Campaign to Revolutionize Education System in Nigeria.

Guildance Community Development Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the “One Teacher, One Laptop” campaign, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at equipping 1,000 (One thousand) Teachers with 1,000 (One thousand) Laptops with a total budget of ₦500 Million.

This is wholly targeted at transforming the education landscape in Nigeria. With a firm belief that empowered teachers are the cornerstone of an active and strong education system, this campaign seeks to provide essential tools and resources to educators across the country.
The campaign, spearheaded by the above-mentioned NGO focuses on equipping teachers with laptops and reliable internet connectivity to create dynamic and technology-driven learning environments. The ultimate goal is to enhance teaching effectiveness, improve student engagement, and foster innovation in classrooms nationwide.
In his address to the press, the President of Guildance Community Development Foundation, Mr. Kabiru A. Adisa, FCA emphasized the critical role of teachers in shaping the future of Nigeria. “Teachers deserve better in Nigeria. Our students deserve teachers that are best equipped,” he remarked. “We are in a digital world, and it is the responsibility of corporate individuals, NGOs, royal fathers, religious bodies, and all stakeholders to rise up and assist the government.”

Highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts, the President reiterated the foundation’s commitment to supporting government initiatives in education. “We are going to be deceiving ourselves if we think the government will do everything,” he stated.
“It is for this reason that my team and I came up with this initiative to support the efforts of the government in education by providing and equipping 1,000 (One Thousand) teachers with a laptop each, and Internet access.”
The campaign will commence in Osun State, Nigeria with plans to expand its reach to other states across the country. Guildance Community Development Foundation has already forged partnerships with few NGOs abroad and is actively seeking collaborations with additional organizations. Individuals and corporate bodies are encouraged to contribute to the campaign through donations in cash and kind.
