The Ile-Ogbo-born defender, Rofiat Imuran, made her debut for the Super Falcon team today; Tuesday, 31st of October 31 2023 in the second leg of their Olympic qualifiers second round at MKO Abiola Stadium.
Rofiat Imuran who plays at left-back was solid at the back and made some nice defending to stop any threat from the Ethiopian attackers.
In the 55th minute of the game, she sustained an injury which required the attention of the medical team. Rofiat was rushed outside the pitch.
After receiving medical attention she continued with the game. Unfortunately, she was forced out at 60 minutes as she couldn’t continue the game. Rofiat Imuran was subbed out for Nicole Payne.
