The cloud was endowed with excitement and amazement when the ray of light of Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba AbduRasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1 came into the sights of Muslim Ummah from various abode in an unexpected pace during Jummat service at Islahudeen Akeukawe Central mosque, Iwo, on October 2 2020.
The emperor in his charming and goodwill message advised the engrossed flocks before him to entirely emerge in both Arabic and Western learning as the society’s name literally entails “Akeukawe“. Oluwo also buttressed his counselling as a child of necessity as well as greener pasture and a way out for Muslim to execute greater heights in this realm.

Oluwo also said and I quote: “Only Arabic could not be sufficient for the betterment of your livelihood rather merge attain both Western and Arabic learning for effective and positive future description.”
Oba Adewale Akanbi also derived his priceless address towards the acknowledgement of the society’s chief Imam, Sheikh Isiaq Abolaji Ajibopenle for his diligence and commitment in a quest for the prosperity of the society and for disseminating Islamic teachings.

He was also accompanied by some enthusiastic personalities i.e Prof Lai Olurode among others. Prof Lai whose unconditional strivings were appreciated as he is considered as one of the bonafide members of the amiable society.
In his royal highness’s concluding part, Oluwo praised the gleaming faces before him for unflinching and relentless efforts towards Iwo’ development and for him (Oluwo) as he was bidding farewell to well-wishers and bunch of people residing in the society.
