Is Governor Oyetola Tying Iwo Local Government/LCDAs Chairmen Not To perform?

Are Iwo Local Government/LCDAs saying Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is tying them to perform?

In a swift reaction to a proposed protest by the Federation of Iwo Land Students’ Union (FILSU), the Iwo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Kamo Raji said Iwo Local Government is facing some financial challenges that can’t even fund a project above N200,000 in the community.

Despite the huge allocation being received by Iwo from the federation purse. It is shocking to hear that a whole council can’t execute a project a cost of N200,000, then what expectation should the people of Iwo have?

Surprisingly that our Chairman can’t fund a project above N200,000. Even if those millions allocated to Iwo Local Government every month are not coming directly to the LG purse. Are they saying they are handicapped by the State government to execute any project?

Yet, Iwo Local Government Chairman is charging market women, slaughter labs, okada riders, and others for tax.

Days, weeks and months spent yet Iwoland has not witnessed new developments.
