The Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland, Mayegun Khalid Debọ Badru, has donated One Million Naira to support the ongoing pavilion construction at Oluwo Stadium, Iwo.
Mayegun made the donation today at the grand finale of the Balogun Jorjor Football Competition.
Mayegun commended the leadership of the Iwo Board of Trustees (IBOT) for lifting the hope of regular donors through judicious spending, appealing to Iwo sons, daughters and generous givers to donate for the completion of the ongoing pavilion construction.

Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland said: “I’m here today to support my son, Hon. Abeeb Muyiwa Abdulamid who deemed it fit to engage youths across Osun State in an activity where trophy carries dust and memories last forever here at at Oluwo Stadium.
“As a responsible son of the land, I’m donating a token of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) to support the IBOT in the construction of the project which is our collective responsibility.
He continued: “The vision of Oluwo and IBOT is to have a bowl-like stadium with a first-class pavilion where not only international football can be held but also world-class concerts. They’ve proposed to have a 10-pavilion with a world-standard football pitch and as a noble son of the town, I’m also contributing my quota with a promise to do more if called upon again.

“Once again, I appeal to everyone to cooperate with the leadership of our father, the Oluwo of Iwo and IBOT to actualize the new Iwo of our dream.” He continued
Mayegun was accompanied to Oluwo Stadium to grace the event by his lovely wife, Alhaja Rihanna Funkẹ Badru, and some APC faithful which includes the party chairman in Iwo LG, Engr. Lasun Olaniyi, former Iwo LG Chairman, Alhaji Mutiu Kareem, former Chairmen of Iwo East LCDA, Hon. Rahman Lawal Abiola and Hon. Lukman Adeyinka Lawal and others.
