Iwo Traditional Council Commends Gov. Adeleke, Calls for Lifting of Executive Order on Monarchs

In a decisive move, the Oluwo Palace of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi has announced the suspension of Baale Ogunajo, Kehinde Ogunajo, and Baale Sabitu Ajani for six months.

The suspension, effective immediately, comes as a result of their alleged insubordination and blatant disrespect towards the office of the Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr) AbdulRosheed Adewale Akanbi.

During this suspension period, the duo is prohibited from parading themselves as Baale.
The announcement was made by Alli Ibraheem, the spokesperson for the Palace of Oluwo of Iwoland, who urged the general public to take note of this development.
