Oluwo Congratulates Iwo-Born David Akande For Winning 2022 AMVCA Award

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated David Akande for winning the 2022 AMVCA Award.

David Akande along with Demola Yusuf and Edgard Leroy (Alaise) won the ‘Best Indigenous Language Movie or Series (Yoruba).

In a congratulatory message released by Chief Press Secretary to Oluwo, Alli Ibraheem,  the monarch described David Akande as his pride and a good ambassador of Yoruba movies.

The monarch said: “I congratulate my son, David Akande, for his outstanding performance in the Yoruba movie industry. The 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award David Akande is my pride and a good ambassador of Yoruba movies.”
