His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adewale Akanbi, has commiserated with Senator Adelere Oriolowo on the death of his mother who passed on today.
Oluwo in a condolence message released by the Chief Press Secretary of Oba Adewale Akanbi, Alli Alli A’repo Ponda Ibraheem described Alhaja Samiratu’s death as saddening and devastating.
The monarch also said the death of the Iya Suna of Iwo will create a vacuum.

Oluwo said: “I commiserate with Senator Lere Oriolowo, Dr. Niyi Oriolowo and the entire Oriolowo family over the death of our mother, Alhaja Samiratu Abidemi Oriolowo.”
“I extend the commiseration to Oluwo Central Mosque. The death of Iya Suna of Iwo, Alhaja Samiratu has created a vacuum.”
“May God forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljana Firdaus. Every she left behind shall be protected and guarded. Once again, my condolences to her family.” The monarch concluded.
