A businessman and political Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju has empowered the residents of Osun State in his state constituency, Iwo local government.
The programme which was held at Iwo City Hall on Sunday had ‘de creme la creme‘ of the party in Iwo federal constituency in attendance.
In his words, Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju said this won’t be the first of his empowerment series as he had always embarked on community and humanitarian services ever before his adventure into politics.
He said the programme is a means of alleviating poverty in society, contributing his humanitarian quota to the society, and equally appreciating party supporters for the applaudable effort they put up during the series of electioneering struggles in the state.
He also complements the good work the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke has been doing since his assumption to office in the state.
The Oil and gas businessman assured of the continuation of the empowerment series.
Among things distributed at the event is cash grants for women ranging from N25,000 to N50,000 for different categories of women, Freezers, Motorcycles, and food items among other things.
Present at the event is the two Honourable member-elect of Iwo and Ola-oluwa state constituency Hon Rabiu Atanda and Hon Ibrahim Abiodun, representative of the State Working Committee of PDP in the state, Barr I.T Tewogbade, Caretaker committee Chairman and Secretary of PDP in Iwo local government Hon Tiamiyu Alidu, Hon Ibrahim Akala, PDP party leaders across the federal constituency, Hon Tunde Adesoye, Hon Sunday Oroniyi, Hon Tunde Olaniyi and also Media Assistant to the Executive Governor of Osun, Oluniyi Isamotu among others at the event.
Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju was a House of Representatives aspirant for Iwo/Aiyedire/Ola-Oluwa federal constituency, a member of the Chieftaincy Affairs and Review Committee set up by Governor Ademola Adeleke and a PDP Chieftain in Iwo local government.
