The Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, has revealed that the Muslim Muslim Ticket of the Presidential bid of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is aimed at paving way for a successful winning of the 2023 Presidential Election.
Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan had said this in a press briefing with Journalists today Sunday 26th June 2022 at Iwo Town Hall, Iwo, Osun State at the 2nd Year anniversary of the Ta’awunu Political Forum (TPF), a Political support group that cut across the length and breadth of Osun State.

In his address, the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland stressed the fact that a former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola who is a Christian had fielded a Christian Deputy Erelu Olusola Obada without any hindrance from any Muslim Rights groups.
He said, “There are many states where Christian Christian ticket is being practiced and there is no war, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola a former Governor of Osun State had picked a Christian Deputy and we all enjoyed it.”

“What is important is how Yorubaland can win this coming election. And Asiwaju Bola Tinubu needs the support of the North which majority of them are Muslim which is why a Muslim Muslim Ticket is important, it is not Islamisation” he added.
Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan said further that, it is also imperative for all Muslims in Yorubaland to get their respective PVCs in other to exercise their constitutional rights in the 2023 Presidential Election.
