The organizer of Miss Iwoland, Mike Obafemi Halim popularly known as McOlumiko appreciates His Royal Majesty Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi for his royal support for the success recorded on the Miss Iwoland third edition.
Miss Iwoland which started in 2017 rounded off the third edition tagged Rubby Edition. The grand finale of the cultural and educative event held at Iwo City Hall on the 20th December, 2019.
The programme was graced by imminent and August individuals in Iwoland and other states. Among the guests were; Prof Jelili Oguntola Alamu; the Asiwaju-odo of Iwoland, the CEO. of J Light as well as the Chief Gbobaniyi of Iwoland, Dr. Mrs Yussuf, Hon. Mrs. Oriolowo, the Royal College of Health, Iwo Board Chairman and members, the CEO f Osas Fashion; Sheriff .
The atmosphere at the Iwo City Hall on Saturday 20th was unique as the event was attended by other amazing personalities and also one of the popular Yoruba Movie Actors, Adekola Tijani popularly known as Kamilu Kompo.
The Oluwo of Iwoland as the Grand Royal Host & Patron has promised to create a sectional office as the Office of Miss Iwoland at the palace. In addition to office, provision of monthly stipends and project grant for contestants as part of provisions to upgrade the programme for bigger impact before next edition.
The Popular Yoruba Movie Actor, Kamilu Kompo (Adekola Tijani) was awarded Best Indigenous Actor of the year. In his words, Kamilu Kompo enjoined all good people of Iwo to support Miss Iwoland as it is a precious pageant that can groom ladies into becoming better women. He also eulogised Telu 1 with “ewi” as he describes Telu 1 as a nice father and King in Yorubaland.
The Royal College of Health, Iwo Board Chairman and members at the event promised to sponsor the annual pet project of the office of Miss Iwoland. Also, the CEO of Osas Fashion donated gifts to the winners.

The winners of the Miss Iwoland 3rd Edition are:
- Adegbola Tunmise : Miss Iwoland 2019/2020.
- Olaniyi Adebola Miss Iwoland Culture.
- Omotayo Mosunmola : Miss Iwoland Education.
- Blessings Olowo poroku : Miss Iwoland Top Model 2019/2020
Oluwo of Iwoland rewarded the winners with cash gifts and urged them to make use of the office for the greater Iwoland.
Mr. Nigeria Global Int’l 2019, Ayo Olowoporoku, whose sister clinched Top Model encouraged the queens and rewarded 1st Runner up Queen Mosun with a free entry for next Miss Nigeria.
While revealing his profound and unquantifiable gratitude to all guests, Mike Obafemi Halim, the organizer of Miss Iwoland said there are no perfect words to show how grateful he is to them all.
