Alh. Lukman Kayode Mudashir (L&K) has been declared the winner of the Iwo/Ayedire/Olaoluwa Federal Constituency primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.
Alh. Lukman Kayode Mudashir (L&K) was declared the winner, having polled the highest votes in the primary election.
Other aspirants who contested for the position included Alhaji Nurudeen Mudashir Emiloju, Engr Lukman Ayodeji Bello, Mr Akinwole and Hon Asaliwa.
On his part, Alh. Lukman Kayode Mudashir (L&K) who is the Aare Atunluṣe of Iwoland appreciated the party and the delegates for the peaceful conduct of the election and voting for him.

L&K, however, said that the keenly contested primaries will help to strengthen the party and also enjoins other aspirants to join the team, work together in unison and achieve victory together in the general election.
The results of the Primary Election as gathered;
- Alh. Lukman Kayode Mudashir (L&K) – 41 votes
- Engr Lukman Ayodeji Bello – 34 votes
- Alhaji Nurudeen Mudashir Emiloju – 24 votes
- Mr. Akinwole – 05 votes
- Hon Asaliwa – 02 votes
- Void – 01 vote

“First and foremost, I wish to express my gratitude to the leaders and members of our party across Iwo/Ayedire/Olaoluwa Federal Constituency for organizing and conducting a hitch-free primary election. The same appreciation goes to the members of the caretaker committee in the state and those of the three Local Governments that make up the Iwo Federal Constituency.
