Lanre Leke Sports Academy Wins Osun School Governors Cup 2024

In March 2024, Lanre Leke Sports Academy triumphed over Ataoja School of Science Osogbo to win the Osun School Governors Cup 2024.

The match, which ended in a draw, saw Lanre Leke secure victory with a 5-4 win in the penalty shootout.

Based in Ile-Ogbo, Aiyedire Local Government Area, Iwo Federal Constituency, Lanre Leke Sports Academy shone in the maiden edition of the tournament, demonstrating a perfect blend of academic excellence and top-tier sportsmanship to mold young talents into world-class superstars.

In addition to their championship win, Lanre Leke Sports Academy was awarded the Fair Play Team of the Tournament, highlighting their commitment to integrity and sportsmanship.

The academy is nourishing future football stars from the corner of Iwoland that would become Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Victor Osimhen, Jay Jay Okocha of tomorrow.

Congratulations to the Academy on their outstanding achievements! This is a good representation of Ile-Ogbo, Aiyedire Local Government Area and the entire people of Iwo Federal Constituency.
