Elders mostly the APC chieftains and religious leaders in Iwoland led by the Asiwaju of Iwo, Barr. Gbadegesin Adedeji and Baba Isokan Musulumi, Sheik Abdulrosheed Fasasi, respectively, today, Solidarized with the Oluwo and called for peace in Iwo Traditional Council.
The elders, including Asiwaju Musulumi of Iwoland, Alhaji Liad Tella, former Secretary to Osun State Government (Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti), Baba Akinola Baaqi, Waziri of Yorubaland (Sheik Yahqub Abdulbaaqi), Amir Taa’wun (Daood Imran Molaasan), APC Party Secretary (Razaq Salinsile), Alhaji Alani Gafari, Prof. Lai Olurode, Alhaji Debo Badru, All Local Government Chairmen in Iwo, leading APC party members, religious and opinion leaders in their numbers converged at Oluwo’s palace to identify and perform their elderly role.

Oluwo appreciates their role, praying individuals to prioritize community interest ahead of personal gain.
He trusted the words of the elders as he called on collective collaboration to take Iwo to an enviable height.
