Akinola Akano popularly known as ‘Segbowe’ in the entertainment industry hails from Ile-Ogbo in Iwoland though he grew up in the city of Ibadan in Oyo State.
He got the name ‘Segbowe’ from the popular Yoruba television family drama series ‘Awon Aladun De’ showing on African Magic.
Akinola is a versatile actor, scriptwriter and movie producer who takes Hollywood actor Tyler Perry as a role model and is a proud producer of at least six Nollywood movies.
