IDPC Welcomes Writers to Participate in the Essay Competition Sponsored by BALOGUN JORJOR for the 32nd Iwo Day Celebration
Ahead of the Iwo Day Celebration 2023, the Iwo Day Planning Committee (IDPC) Education and Sports subcommittee has invited passionate writers to participate in the Iwo Day Essay Competition sponsored by ABEEB MUYIWA ABDULAMID BALOGUN JORJOR.
According to the chairman of the committee, he said: the essay competition is a golden opportunity for sons and daughters of Iwo to showcase their analytical and creative skills on a thought-provoking topic.

TOPIC: “BEYOND IWO DAY CELEBRATION: HARNESSING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPMENT TO END THE MENACE OF SOCIAL VICES.”
He informed the general public that the essay entry has been on since November 23, 2023, while it ends on December 10, 2023.
Those who are eligible are Iwoland youths in higher institutions of learning. Also, empathize with the guidelines of the essay that the font allowed is Times New Roman, size 12, and the line spacing must 1.5.

It also stated that all entries must include the participant’s name, phone number, and compound and the submissions of all participants should be original, engaging, and well-researched.
He also urges anyone who has an interest not to miss this chance as it’s part of contributing their unique perspective. “Let your words make a lasting impact”,
he concluded.
Abeeb Muyiwa popularly known as ‘Balogun Jorjor‘ announced that the cash prize for the winner will be ₦50,000. While the first runner-up is ₦30,000 and the second runner-up is ₦20,000.
