Former Iwo LG Chairman, Hon SEE BEE Donates N20,000 FILSU to Resurrect Union’s Bus, Urge Them to be Agent of Development
Former Iwo Local Government Chiarman Alhaji Sulaiman Bello Akanji popularly known as SEE BEE donates sum of N20,000 to Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union (FILSU) to resurrect the union’s bus which has been broken down for months.
Hon SEE BEE was the chairman of Iwo Local Government and one time aspirant to represent AYIWOLA (Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa) at the House of Representative under the Labour Party in 2015 general election.
It was a fruitful move on 12th of January, 2020 when the leadership of the Union extends their familiarization movement to the side of a former Iwo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Bello Sulaimon. Hon SEE BEE welcomed and heartily appreciated the visitation and tagged it as Harmonization visitation.
He said FILSU as a student union should be a mediator when it comes to communal and developmental issue rather to sideband the frequency and familiarity of the union with mediocrity and nepotism. He commended the new executive members for being agents of harmony and unity.
During the discussion, the issue of Union bus was mentioned and he was so eager to know what could made the bus to be on ground for long. As the Union executives present during the visitation relaid the faults of bus, he wholeheartedly pledged to resurrect it with the some of N20,000 which has been fulfilled as acknowledged by the Union leadership.
While reacting on behalf of FILSU, the president, Akinkunmi Ismail Iromini said: “We all appreciate the generous donations of Hon Sulaimon Bello (SEEBEE) for resurrecting our Union bus, may Almighty Allah enrich his pocket, elevate him and reward him in multitudes.” He concluded.
